Niseko Annupuri

Niseko Annupuri is one of Niseko's most oft-visited resorts. Referred to as the black horse or underdog during the Hirafu boom years, Annupuri was actually one of Niseko's most visited resorts all along, well-known to locals and domestic skiers and snowboarders, it just hadn't been recognized as such by the international market. Annupuri has a lot going for it: fun and varied terrain, excellent peak access, and the mother of all reasons for visiting this resort: the Annupuri back bowl! No visit to Niseko is complete without at least several runs through this natural terrain park hiding off to the right.

Annupuri is known for getting hammered when it gets windy, and the resort will often close during a storm. For those lucky few who wait out the storm... when the resort reopens: all-you-can-ride neck deep powder snow!

Looking for accommodation? Plenty to be had: luxury accommodation, youth hostel, pensions, and more.
